Annie Parr is a multi-disciplinary artist from Raymond, Mississippi. Parr holds a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Mississippi and received her MFA in Studio Art at East Tennessee State University.

She focuses in printmaking and textile-based methods to connect her formal degrees with craft-based practices she learned through her family. She works in fiber processes such as quilting, weaving, and embroidery to connect to the history of craft.

Her current body of work deals with feelings of loss, memory, and human connection. Parr utilizes family artifacts and photographs to create the imagery in her art. She aims to reuse items that were connected to the people who came before her.
